Top 18 lessons (re)learned in 2018!

*In no particular order*

1. Always play through pain. Don’t quit!

2. When people look up to you, remember to look up to God.

3. Peace is priceless!

4. When people ask how you’ve done it, make sure you don’t hesitate with the answer.

5. What you look at stays the same, how you look at it changes. Enjoy the view!

6. You are strong, but your weaknesses grow you more.

7. Not all criticism is true, not all praise is sincere.

8. You will never be able to repay those that truly love you, there is no bribe big enough for those that don’t.

9. Be careful how much you love the sound of your own voice, be careful how much you love to listen to others voices.

10. Do what you love, love what you do---when one of those changes---have the courage to step away. There’s something more…….

11. Apologize first and mean it most.

12. Don’t be lukewarm. It either matters or it doesn’t.

13. It’ll be good, but it’ll be different.

14. Two words -- show up!

15. Hope! Hope! Hope!

16. Know your audience!

17. Forgiveness is ongoing, annoyingly repetitive, but it’s the only choice to live a life of freedom.

18. Your heart is bigger and more open now…...so love!

My verse for 2019 comes from Proverbs chapter 8, verse 17. “I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently find me.”

I’m not sure what lessons you learned in 2018, but I’m sure you are wiser.
